Image 13: Antiqued Wax Resist
This new fireplace was white to start. We painted  a few tones of reds, golds and greens and using a wax resist finish followed with a mottled overglaze. This really made it seem quite old.

Image 15: Faux Sandstone Fireplace and Mantle This was a red brick fireplace which we troweled with thin set and Texstons "Terra". The grout line were taped out before the last coat of Terra. The mantle was done with regular glazes.

Image 22:  These oak cabinets were painted and distressed and overglazed. We used Terra for the backsplash  and inserted the tiles to be flush. We marbled the counter top in French Grande Antique.
