We had a lot of fun
adding more details as we went along on this cabinet. First, it is
stried in raw umber over the green, creating miters on each corner
for a nice detail. We used gold mica powders for hand painting the
details around each drawer.
The detail was taken directly from an antique cabinet on the wall.
The door to the powder room is painted in the same gold and strie
glazes. The door jamb is marbled to match the floor trim marble." |
